  • 1939 06 27 Antanas Sutkus was born in Kluoniškiai, Kaunas district
  • 1947–1954 attended the seven-year school in Zapyškis, Kaunas district
  • 1955–1958 studied at Ežerėlis high school, Kaunas district
  • since 1958 has been living in Vilnius
  • 1958 a photocorrespondent at the Tarybinis studentas newspaper
  • 1959–1962 a photocorrespondent at the weekly Literatūra ir menas
